First Post - Connor's Headband Hearing Aid

We figured this would be a good place for everyone to keep up with Connor's progress.

As most of you know he has gotten his hearing aid headband.

He's been doing really great with it.  Only every now and then when he is tired, he will pull it down off of his head.

To update those who may not know about his headband, he now has audio responses that are in line with other babies his age.  Most children have a speech recognition rating of 0-15 decibels.  With his new hearing aid, Connor has a rating of 5 decibels!  He hears all sounds of the English level at a normal level now.

Once the hearing aid was placed behind his ear, Connor's eyes got wide and he looked around for all the new sounds he was hearing.  It was a touching moment to know that he won't miss out on anything now.

I've attached photo of his new accessory.  To me, he looks like a little basketball player with a
sweatband.

Also, we received good results from the Craniofacial Clinic earlier this week.  All of the specialists examined Connor and believe that he has no other health problems.
